The duck egg is increasingly popular in home kitchens since it is a great alternative to chicken eggs for baking cakes and breads. Their bright, creamy, high-protein and high-fat yolks create a rich, light and moist result. Fresh-n-Natural collects eggs from ducks that enjoy the pastured life. Duck eggs are about 2 ½ inches long and 1 ¼ in diameter, which is about 30 percent larger than a chicken egg.

These ducks forage on  pasture, feasting all day on bugs, frogs/tadpoles, fish, grasses and seeds. In the evening, they are fed conventional lay pellets. Pellets contains a nutrient that allows egg laying. Without this nutrient, we would have to create a custom mix of feed to duplicate it, increasing the prices of our eggs significantly.
