You are not required to create an account for the purpose of ordering. There is an option to use the “Guest Login” for any purchase.

After your click the Checkout button, you will arrive at the Login screen. If this is your first order and do not have a customer account (yet), select the “Continue as Guest” button under the Guest Login. At the completion of your order, you will be given the option to sign up for a customer account. Your new customer account login and password can then be used for your future orders.

You will need to create an account to receive points (guest customers are not eligible to receive points).  Once you have earned 300 points, you are eligible to redeem them for a promo code for 15% off a future order.  Only one promo/discount code per order.

Depending on the parcel, the soil types vary from a light sandy loam to a rich, dark, crumbly loam. Each is amended with an organic compost that contains no animal products. Fish emulsion and cover crops enrich the soil with nitrogen, a key plant nutrient. Crop rotation also helps to prevent depletion of minerals in the soil.

CSA, which stands for “community supported agriculture”, is a method of connecting customers to small farms through a seasonal or monthly subscription for produce or other farm crafted goods (however, our CSA is a little more flexible, please refer to the following FAQs for more info). 

By participating in a CSA, one can directly support the livelihood of a local farm. As many people know, small farms are in decline, and so are the many unique and delicious heirloom varieties of food that were once common. Eating locally and naturally grown food helps to preserve these agrarian traditions, the genetic heritage of seed, as well as food culture generated from access to unique agricultural varieties and your climatic zone. Buying local food also promotes food security by supporting the existence of farmers right in the immediate community, and therefore decreases a community’s reliance on food trucked in from hundreds or perhaps thousands of miles away. 

Participation in a CSA also keeps food dollars (money) circulating locally. This local exchange helps to foster a strong community, one where people genuinely support each other. Furthermore, a short distance between farm and fork cuts back carbon emissions by reducing use of fossil fuel for food transportation. And, by buying from an restorative agricultural farm (such as Fresh-n-Natural), one can help to opt out of an agricultural system that causes a myriad of environmental and health problems. restorative agricultural farms promote soil and water health and habitat preservation, and serve to keep the environment free of harmful chemicals.

Order and pay monthly, receive a weekly delivery of the freshest farm produce around! It’s a come and go as you please sort of policy. If you do not feel like receiving produce one week, there is no obligation to order. Through our online ordering system, you can build your own share, of which we have a small and large sized share. In this way, there is less commitment and more choice involved in our CSA program compared to other CSAs out there.
